1. Equipment maintenance

Caring for equipment through general methods such as wiping, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, etc., to maintain and protect the performance and technical condition of the equipment, is called equipment maintenance. There are four main requirements for equipment maintenance:

(1) Clean the inside and outside of the equipment clean and tidy. There is no oil on all sliding surfaces, lead screws, racks, gear boxes, oil holes, etc., no oil or air leakage at all parts, and chips, debris, and dirt around the equipment should be cleaned clean; 

(2) Tidy Tools, accessories, and workpieces (products) must be placed neatly, and pipelines and lines must be organized;

(3) Good lubrication. Add oil or change oil on time, keep oiling, no dry friction, normal oil pressure, bright oil mark, unobstructed oil path, oil quality meet requirements, oil gun, oil cup, and felt clean;

(4) Safety Observe the safety operation regulations, do not overload the equipment, the safety protection device of the equipment is extremely reliable, and eliminate unsafe factors in time.

The maintenance of equipment generally includes daily maintenance, regular maintenance, regular inspection and precision inspection. Equipment lubrication and cooling system maintenance are also an important part of equipment maintenance.

The daily maintenance of equipment is the basic work of equipment maintenance and must be institutionalized and standardized. For the regular maintenance of equipment, work quotas and material consumption quotas should be formulated, and assessed according to the quotas. The regular maintenance of equipment should be included in the assessment content of the workshop contract responsibility system. Periodic inspection of equipment is a planned preventive inspection. In addition to human senses, there must also be certain inspection tools and instruments, which are carried out according to the periodic inspection card. Regular inspections are also called periodic inspections. The accuracy of the mechanical equipment should also be checked to determine the degree of actual accuracy of the equipment.

Equipment maintenance should be carried out in accordance with maintenance procedures. Equipment maintenance procedures are requirements and regulations for the daily maintenance of equipment. Adhering to the equipment maintenance procedures can extend the service life of the equipment and ensure a safe and comfortable working environment. Its main content should include:

(1) The equipment must be neat, clean, firm, lubricated, anti-corrosive, safe, etc. The content of the operation, the method of operation, the tools and materials used, the standards reached and the matters needing attention;

2) The parts, methods and standards of daily inspection, maintenance and regular inspection;

(3) Inspect and assess the content and methods of the degree of equipment maintenance by the operators.

2. Three-level maintenance system for equipment

The three-level maintenance system is a maintenance and repair system that began in the mid-1960s in our country. Based on the summary of the former Soviet Union’s planned pre-repair system in my country’s practice, it has been gradually improved and developed. It reflects the focus of my country’s equipment maintenance management. The change from repair to maintenance reflects the progress of my country's equipment maintenance management and the clearer maintenance management policy focusing on prevention. The three-level maintenance system includes: daily maintenance of equipment, primary maintenance and secondary maintenance. The three-level maintenance system is a compulsory maintenance system that focuses on the operators and pays equal attention to the maintenance of the equipment. The three-level maintenance system is an effective way to rely on the masses, give full play to the enthusiasm of the masses, implement group management and group repair, combine specialists and groups, and do a good job in equipment maintenance.

(1) Daily maintenance of equipment

The daily maintenance of equipment generally includes daily maintenance and weekly maintenance, also known as daily warranty and weekly warranty.

1. Daily maintenance

Daily maintenance is carried out by equipment operators on duty, earnestly doing the four things before the shift, five attentions during the shift and the four things after the shift.

(1) Four things before the shift Digest the drawing data and check the shift record. Wipe the equipment, lubricate and add oil as required. Check whether the handle position and manual operation part are correct and flexible, and whether the safety device is reliable. Run at low speed to check whether the transmission is normal, and whether the lubrication and cooling are smooth.

(2) Attention during class five. Pay attention to the operating sound, whether the temperature, pressure, liquid level, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems of the equipment, instrument signals, and safety insurance are normal.

(3) Four things after shift Turn off the switch and put all handles to the zero position. Remove iron filings and dirt, wipe off the oil stains on the guide rail surface and sliding surface of the equipment, and add oil. Clean up the work site, organize accessories and tools. Fill in the shift record and the record when operating the station, and go through the shift procedures.
